We are overjoyed to begin celebrating mass in person again! Below are the guidelines being implemented.
1. St. Peter Catholic Church will continue to be used for all liturgical celebrations, including Masses. The church will open 30 minutes prior to the liturgical event(s).
2. Volunteers will sanitize the pews and door handles immediately after all weekday liturgical celebrations.
3. Saint Peter Catholic Church will no longer be open all day for Eucharistic visitations. The Daily Mass Chapel will be used instead while maintaining a sanitary environment, as well as the safe distance rule of 6 feet between each person, and no more than 5 people at a time. The chairs in the chapel have been covered in plastic, so that it is easier to sanitize the areas used. Please use the sanitizing wipes to sanitize areas touched.
4. As of July 10, 2020, masks are required at Mass per the Archdiocese.
5. Please enter through the front entrance doors of the church, and exit through the east and west doors of the church, so that we can fulfill the 6 feet social distancing mandate.
6. Please sanitize your hands immediately after entering the church and chapel with sanitizing gel.
7. With current guidelines from the archdiocese, state and local government, the church can accommodate 85 people at a time. Please notify our parish office by Facebook, email, text message or phone call about which Mass you will attend, so we can comply with the max occupancy guideline.
